Never judge a piece of fruit by its skin. You’ve got to admit, prunes aren’t the most attractive-looking fruit — dark brown, dried, shriveled-up little plums. But looks can be deceiving, because their sweet flavour and sticky chewy texture is delicious. As the Australian winter looms nearer, it’s time to heat things up in the kitchen. We love this story berry much! — A simple & very effective innovation by LuvaBerry, to fight food wastage & boost essential #nutrient intake for Australia’s population, currently eating far below the recommended daily intake of #fruit and #vegetables. This is such an important message for other #Australian Food Producers & food industry leaders to continue being vigilant in reducing the tons of edible food thrown out each year. Have you developed an #innovative practice on your property in order to counteract food wastage? We would love to hear it below! . . #frompaddocktoplate #feedyourmind #foodeducation #foodwaste #waronwaste #foodinnovation #foodproducers #foodfarming #reduce #feedingtheworld #australianagriculture ———————————————————— SOURCE: QLD COUNTRY HR
